To verify the craftsmanship of a lifelike animatronics manufacturer, it’s not just about the large lifelike animal models produced. The most crucial aspect lies in the miniature lifelike animal models. Only when a series of exquisite small animal models come into view can one marvel at the artisans’ unparalleled skill.
Why is verifying small animatronic animals considered a test of high-standard craftsmanship? Because the tiny size of animal models requires artisans to devote more effort and employ years of honed skills to carve out intricate and lifelike appearances.
Here are 6 small animal models that we have customized, which are enough to prove the craftsmanship of our workers.

1. Mouse / Rat Model

Rat Model
The mouse / rat is a common mammal in our daily lives (though most people would rather not encounter it😓). It measures only about a dozen centimeters in length, presenting a significant challenge for handmade production. The fur on a mouse’s body is painstakingly glued one strand at a time, requiring considerable labor.
Quick fact:
Act swiftly; primarily herbivorous, though some are omnivorous; numerous species. Rats are a type of rodent, varying in size. With diverse species and among the most primitive mammals extant, they possess remarkable vitality, prolific reproduction, and exceptional adaptability. Nearly omnivorous in diet, they thrive in virtually any habitat.
2. Goose Model

Animatronic Goose Replica
The white goose is also a common poultry animal on our dining tables. It measures about 30-40 centimeters in body length and is a small feathered creature. We still need to install motors and electrical systems in this 30-centimeters-long white goose model. The attachment of feathers and white down is also an extremely meticulous works.
Quick fact:
Goose as a whole can be used as medicine, with a sweet taste and a calm nature. It can nourish qi and tonify deficiency, harmonize the stomach and quench thirst, and treat deficiency and weakness, as well as quench thirst; Goose bile can also treat old cough and asthma. Goose is an economic poultry domesticated by humans for a long time, which can provide various products. In addition to goose meat, goose fatty liver, goose eggs, and goose down, it can also be processed into goose down fur, goose oil, goose bones, etc.
3. Peacock Model

Animatronic Peacock
Peacock is a difficult bird model to make, with a thin neck and a large number of tail feathers. This peacock model with a body length of only 40 centimeters took us nearly 15 days to make, and it took us 5 days just to coat the tail. The production of slender necks and legs tests the ability of our carvers.
Quick fact:
Peacocks are distributed in Yunnan and Xizang of China, as well as Bangladesh, Myanmar, Indochina Peninsula and Java Island of Indonesia; Blue peacocks are distributed in India and Sri Lanka. Peacock inhabits open areas of sparse grasslands, shrubs, bamboo forests, as well as coniferous and broad-leaved forests below an altitude of 2000 meters, and prefers areas close to water sources.
4. Squirrel Model

Animatronic Squirrel
The adorable 20 centimeters long squirrel model is truly delightful! Despite its small size, we still integrate the motors and electrical systems, which remains quite a challenge for us. We’ve ensured these two animatronic squirrels can move their mouth and tail, with their dynamic actions representing the nimble and lively personality of squirrels.
Quick fact:
Squirrels are distributed across all continents except Antarctica (being introduced species in Oceania). They inhabit diverse environments, are diurnal with peak activity in the early morning, and possess keen vision and hearing. Squirrels do not hibernate and exhibit food-storing behavior. As omnivores, they consume a wide variety of plants, including nuts, seeds, pinecones, fruits, fungi, and green vegetation, as well as insects.
5. Dodo Bird Model

Dodo Bird Model
The dodo bird was an animal from the Ice Age and became extinct on a small island in the South Pacific only in modern times! This dodo model is only 60 centimeters tall and is also a dynamic animal model. The dodo bird can open its mouth to chirp and flap its small wings. Making this dynamic dodo bird model was also a challenge for us.
Quick fact:
The dodo bird lived in the tropical forests of Mauritius, and its food mainly came from the fruits and seeds on the island. From November to March of the following year is the summer in Mauritius, when tropical storms occur frequently and damage plants, causing food shortages, which is the most difficult period for the dodo to survive. After the summer, adult birds immediately start to molt, and by the end of July, their feathers are completely renewed.
6. Parrot Model

Animatronic Parrot
The creation of this lifelike parrot model, with a body length of only about 20 centimeters, is also highly challenging! Its tiny size means our carvers can only use scalpels to shape the form, and every feather is hand-glued. Additionally, the fine down feathers on its body must be meticulously treated to achieve the perfect appearance.
Quick fact:
Parrots are primarily distributed in the tropical and subtropical regions of the Southern Hemisphere, spanning 124 countries between latitudes 35°N and 56°S. In China, they are mainly found in the southwestern regions along the Hengduan Mountains. Most parrots are gregarious forest birds that inhabit trees, though some species in Australia and New Zealand have adapted to ground life.
7. Rabbit / Bunny Model

Animatronic Rabbit
Making an animatronic rabbit model that is only about 20 centimeters long is also a test of craftsmanship. Moreover, a motor system needs to be installed inside to give the rabbit movement. This also tests the coordination and skill of our sculptors and electricians. Attaching the rabbit’s fur also requires a lot of patience from the workers.
Quick fact:
Wild rabbits usually live alone or in groups in underground burrows or above-ground nests. They are mostly herbivorous and only supplement their protein through meat in very rare special circumstances or environments. They are generally small in size, and various subgroups are distributed worldwide, having a certain impact on natural ecosystems and human culture in many regions. The burrow-dwelling species of the genus Oryctolagus have been domesticated by humans into domestic rabbits, providing meat, fur, or being kept as pets.
8. Eagle Model

Animatronic Eagle
The animatronic eagle is the most difficult to make among bird models. Its appearance tests the skills of our sculptors, and the feathers need to be glued onto the body one by one. The eagle’s body length is roughly between 50-100 centimeters, with a small head and relatively large wingspan, making it one of the most challenging small animal models to create.
Quick fact:
Eagles are birds widely distributed around the world, except in Antarctica, and vary in size; they can inhabit mountains, forests, plains, coastal areas, and other environments. Their strong wings and excellent flying abilities allow them to cover large areas. Eagles are carnivorous, with curved, sharp beaks that facilitate tearing and eating meat, and their talons are hook-like. They are fierce in nature, feeding on small mammals, reptiles, other birds, and fish, and are active during the day.
Summarize
We have created the above eight types of animatronic small animal models, and the difficulty of making each model proves the skill and experience of our workers. Each small animal model has been favored by our clients. These small animals we made are also enough to prove that we are the best animatronics manufacturer, capable of providing all kinds of animatronics for your theme park or exhibition.
